It is also concerned about the treatment of a broad range of infections and fixing damages in said region. Its scope covers big wounds or injuries, diseases in the face, neck, jaw and any part of the head for that matter. Maxillofacial surgeons have advanced surgical degrees and are originally trained in dentistry schools.
